Pune: The Pimpri Chinchwad New Township Development Authority (PCNTDA) has advised builders and developers saying that they would be blacklisted it they do not transfer the ownership of the flats to buyers. PCNTDA has made it mandatory for developers and builders to transfer the ownership of flat constructed by them in the respective buyers’ name via conveyance deed. The limit to complete the process of transferring the properties will be set for three months after which further action will be taken by the administration.PCNTDA has warned about 375 builders which would face blacklisting if they fail to transfer the flat to the respective owners. These developers and builders had been allotted plots for the construction by the administration about 10 years ago. Many developers have constructed property on these plots and sold flats to owners but have not transferred the properties through conveyance deed.The buyers are facing numerous problems as they do not have authority over their properties due to the lack transfer of property through conveyance deed. Many builders have not completed the formalities of transfer of properties in the buyer’s name. Such property owners have submitted complaints against these developers.PCNTDA will conduct a camp at the administration’s office at Akurdi where such complaints will be invited and respective guidance will be provided for the further process. The administration had allotted plots to about 475 builders out of which about 375 builders have not transferred the properties on the buyers’ name.Builder which will fail to transfer the properties within the given time limit will be blacklisted and PCNTDA will not allow any plots to such builders.
