Bangalore: Bruhat Bangaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has decided to create a system which will allow you to pay your property tax at banks. The BBMP has inaugurated a facility on Monday at the IDBI Bank branch on the Mission road in Bangalore. The facility is the first such facilities which will accept the property tax through banks.The BBMP plans to open similar facilities in several different nationalized and private banks to make the process of tax payment easy and tax payer friendly.D Venkatesh Murthy, Mayor said that the service will come into force in phases. The first phase will include 50 branches of IDBI Bank and Corporation Bank. In the second phase, the service will be opened in 150 bank branches which will be opened by the September mid. The final phase of the service will come online by October which will cover 350 bank branches to pay the property taxes.The decision of allowing property tax payment through banks is taken to facilitate clear and fast transactions of the property tax payments. Online payment or net banking is not possible for everybody, for such people the payment through banks is the best option hence the BBMP has decided to launch this service in Bangalore. Payment via banks is the best alternative for payment of the property tax. Taxpayer will get computerized receipts of their property tax payment from the respective banks.The banks which have tied up with the BBMP for the service of property tax payment through banks include Axis Bank, IDBI, Corporation Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Canara Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Yes Bank, Maharashtra Bank, Indusind Bank, SBI and Indian Bank.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
