Nagpur: In a move to increase the revenue of property tax, NMC has geared up not to miss any single property in its circle. The officials of civic body have started surveying hotels and in two weeks they expect to finish off the counting. The assessment of hotels and their built up area will fuel the revenue of taxes. The last survey of hotels was done a decade back and many hotels have increased their built-up area since then. Using the new survey, officials will be able to know the exact number of hotels including the ones that have been missed out in the collection of property taxes and their built up areas for proper calculation. The Mayor of the city has already ordered door-to-door inspection of properties and hotels are selected as the first kind properties to start the survey. The leader of opposition of NMC has said that only 315 hotels have been registered with the tax department while Shop Act Registration documents reveals that there are around 13,515 hotels in the city. The last survey was conducted in the year 1999.After that an agency has been appointed to do the task in 2007 but the response was negative and survey could not be completed due to some reasons. Now NMC is keeping its fingers crossed as it ventures into a fresh scrutiny. If it works out, the property tax revenue will get a kick.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
