Sahara Group, one of the leading infrastructure and housing companies in India is planning to come up with opulent clubs that would be charging membership fees of Rs. 1.5 crore to Rs. 30 crore. Along with the membership, the high -end customers will be able to own premium residential properties which are a part of this package.According to a spokesperson, this chain of clubs will be launched by the company in India as well as abroad with different brand names. Customers who will pay membership fees above Rs. 5 crore will also be given a luxurious apartment, villa or penthouse. The chain of clubs will be incorporated in some of the finest projects of this group such as Aamby Valley and Sahara Star hotel in Mumbai and also international hotels like The Plaza in New York and Grosvenor House, London.The group is planning to launch 20 clubs which will be developed on vast land parcels that will offer posh residential properties along with the club membership. The spokesperson further added that the clubs which will be launched in city centers will offer only membership and the heavy fees would give a chance to the customers to go for a holiday at any of the club network for certain number of days in a particular year.According to the sources, the group is working on this project for past one year. It is looking out for at least 100 acre of land on each of the suburbs of prime locations such as Bangalore, Chennai, Jaipur, Chandigarh and Hyderabad. These clubs are mostly targeting high net worth individuals and families.
