New Delhi: The National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB) included three more districts in The National Capital Region. These new included districts are Bharatpur, Bhiwani and Mahendranagar. Bhiwani and Mahendragarh districts are in Haryana and Bharatpur is in Rajasthan state.CREDAI said that NCRPB’s decision of adding these three districts in NCR will lead to additional supply of land. The government should prepare a master plan for development of added regions otherwise many issues will come in the way of development of these regions.Jones Lang LaSalle India CEO Santosh Kumar said that the NCRPB’s decision is a long term decision and it would not affect the NCR property market immediately but in future it will impact on the NCR property market.Recent report stated that NCR will witness 11 per cent increase in urbanization by 2021 hence the decision of expanding the NCR region will be beneficial in future. Anil Sharma, CREDAI NCR president said that NCR region was in short supply and the expansion of the area was essential for the future housing needs.Experts have welcomed the expansion but cautioned that immediate and planned infrastructure developments are necessary.
