New Delhi: Lanco Hills Technology Park Ltd a subsidiary of Lanco Infratech has leased office space of 80,000 sq ft at Hyderabad in an IT special economic zone (SEZ) developed by it to Apollo Health Street, a BPO firm owned by a US based group company Sutherland Global Services.The SEZ has a total leasable space of 4 million sq ft. 20 million sq ft of the SEZ is being developed and it has required an investment of Rs 5,000 crore. The SEZ is part of a 100 acre project that also comprises of residential space of six million sq ft., retail and hospitality space of seven million sq ft and non-SEZ office space of three million sq ft.Lanco Hills Technology Park CEO S. Pochendar said, “We have entered into our first leasing agreement with Apollo Health Street for 80,000 sq ft of office space in our IT SEZ. Another 1.5 lakh sq ft will be leased in few days time.”Gachibowli is an emerging IT hub. D V Prasad, Vice President, Lanco Hills Technology commented on the deal and said, “We have provided excellent infrastructure which is going to yield rich dividends to companies setting up their operations.
