No Reduction in Home Loan Rates Anytime Soon

homeloanDespite of the alteration in the prudential norms by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to boost up the housing sector, an immediate drop in the home loan rates cannot be seen anytime soon. According to the bank officials, they have very little scope to further reduce the home loan rates most of the banks offer loans upto Rs.75 lakh at the base rate which is the lowest loan rate for any bank.Home-buyers who are seeking for home loan will not be benefited until and unless the banks agree to cut down the base rates that have remained the same despite of the drop in the repo rate (rate at which banks borrow form RBI).Stat Bank of India is a bank that offers the cheapest home loan in the banking industry of India. According to spokesperson, the bank said that they would not modify the loan rates before the next fiscal policy of RBI review on July 30, 2103.There are chances the loans which are above Rs.75 lakh may get reduced but not immediately as this category belongs to the high-income segment group. The RBI’s move to ease the norms is clearly done for boosting up the residential market, but the banks seem to be uncooperative as they are not able to reduce the deposit rate. Since the deposit growth is under pressure, the banks are enforced to keep the deposit rates high. The bank chiefs are planning to meet the Finance Minister, P Chidambaram on July 3rd for reviewing the quarterly performance and to discuss the emerging interest rate situation.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
