The government appointed panel suggested that tax benefits should be given to motivate the builders to launch rental housing projects.According to the sources, the Chairman of Value and Budget Housing Corporation along with the panel of 19 members has put forth some suggestions like giving infrastructure status to large rental housing projects for lower the cost , track panels for speedy resolutions for all rent related cases and other such related points. The panel will submit its report by next month.The new law will be initiated for the convenience of the residents and to provide affordable homes. The panel also added that affordable housing should include flats that are less than 60 sq m and even hostels and dormitories will be include.Rental housing is the best alternative for the people who are unable to afford buying a home but there are not enough options available.
