New Delhi: Residents of West Delhi can now take a sigh of relief with respect to property registration procedure. The Chief Minister of Delhi has decided to launch online Property registration process to provide hassle-free services to the people and to maintain transparency. The new system is been introduced at Basai Darapur sub-registrar office in West Delhi.The online system will allow the residents to register the properties on the same day after filing the application. Highly security measures will be followed as the property audit trail and cross verification will be made certain. The online procedure will make the entire registration process transparent and accessible.According to the officials, the applicants who are willing to do online property registration have to come down to the sub-registrar office after taking a prior appointment. Appointment can also be taken online by visiting the Revenue Department website. Registered documents that are approved will be delivered to the applicants in the same day itself. The applicants will be informed in writing on the same day if their documents are rejected.The online facility has already been brought into process in sub-registrar offices at Rohini, Nand Nagri Kapashera and Mehrauli.
