New Delhi: When it comes to industrial safety, construction business is said to be one of the most perilous industries as there are higher risks of fatal accidents. Creating awareness regarding vital subjects like environment, health and safety norms has become a necessity in real estate sector. In order to spread such awareness Tata Housing has joined hands with National Safety Council of India (NSC).According to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Tata Housing and NSC will exchange the technical skills and will work together to make environment, health and safety a customary concept in the realty sector.According to a survey, the number of fatal accidents in the construction line is 15.8 for 1000 employees in India. As compared to other countries like USA, India has recorded majority number of accidents.These two companies intend to ensure that environment, safety and health regulation are attained to the fullest on constant basis.
