PMC Categorized 274 Buildings in Dangerous Condition

old-punePune: Pune Municipal Corporation has classified 274 buildings out of 1,186 dilapidated buildings in extremely dangerous condition that may fall down. Most of these buildings are located in old pune, majorly the wadas. After the identification of these buildings, PMC has initiated the work to evacuate the buildings and shift the residents before the monsoon. Out of 274, 55 are in a very poor condition and only thing can be done is to demolish them. While the other 219 needs to undergo serious repair work. The officials of PMC have said that the repair work will take around four months. Many of the flats located in Kasba Peth, bhavani Peth, Budhwar Peth, Nana Peth and Narayan Peth are dilapidated structures and needs to undergo repair or in extreme circumstances it has to be demolished. Some of the buildings are as old as 100 years and it seems like they will fall at any moment from now. Many activists from the city have advised the civic body to plan a long-term plan instead of just going for demolishing. There is high need for regular checkups for the structural stability. Apart from scrutinizing old buildings, those as old as only 30 years should also be considered for a checkup. The bulky fund that has been approved for the repair of dilapidated structures seems to be feebly utilized effectively. Problems from rehabilitation of residents to repair work of sensitive buildings, trouble flies just above the head of PMC. Using the regulations of development plan effectively and taking initiative before it’s too late would help both the officials and those poor buildings. займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
