Hilton Worldwide is setting up a new expansions in India with its five years plan for creating 21 hotels. Hilton is planning to open 5 premium hotels this year in India as the first phase of their investment. Hilton Worldwide is planning to bring Waldorf Astoria, a luxury hotel brand in India with the five year investment plan.Hilton Worldwide will be working with real estate developers across India like Prestige Developers, Mantri Developers, Panchshil Realty, Albany and Muthoot Hotels and Infrastructures and Embassy group and others in their five year plan.Hilton Worldwide has 10 hospitality brands with around 3900 hotels spread across the globe and it is the second largest global hospitality company in the world. The company has many hotel brands which vary from mid-market to premium like Conrad, Double Tree, Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, and Hampton etc.Vice president of Hilton Worldwide said that they are keen to bring the Waldorf Astoria in one of the key cities of India and we are working on the location of the brand. The company will mostly concentrate on the mid-market brands like Hampton, Hilton Garden Inn etc.A year ago, Hilton Worldwide joint ventured with DLF with 26 percent of the shareholding in the Indian hospitality sector. Commenting on this company said that they will find a product which will fit both customers and developer’s perspective.Hilton Worldwide has 15 Waldorf Astoria hotels spread across the globe along with 20 projects in the pipeline.
