NDMC to Record the Number of properties to Increase the Net Property Tax Amount

NDMCIn order to identify the defaulters of property tax, the North Delhi Municipal Corporation have decided to map the properties under its control. The Chairman of Property Tax Committee declared in a statement that they would conduct a survey of all the properties. This survey will be conducted in order to identify the non-tax payers under their jurisdiction and to widen the net tax amount.The property tax committee will be providing a special unit code, Under Unit Property Identification Code (UUPIC). This code will be used for paying property tax. The corporation will also click the pictures of the properties as the photos would provide the property details. The statement also mentioned that if the property owners have not filed their returns as per the area then the difference amount will be collected from them.For this purpose, an amount of Rs. 10 crore has been set aside by the corporation and the data for the same purpose will be provided. All the related official procedure is likely to get completed till July and the data will be prepared till October.
