Chandigarh: Wave Infratech has announced an investment of 3000 crore for the ultra-modern township near Mohali. The township is supposed to be built on 300 acres of land situated in sector 85 and 99 in Mohali, Punjab. Wave Infratech, majorly known as The Chadha Group has been heading the Indian industry since the past 3 decades.2000 crore out of the total amount will be used for the built up cost of the township with around 1100 plots for sale. Units offered in the township will be in the sizes 250-300 sq yards and the price per sq yard will be Rs 47,000. The Wave Infratech CEO, Deepak Sachdev said that they have received great response from customers and got the 200 bookings so far. He also added that the entire project will be completed in 5 to 6 years span but most of the housing construction will be accomplished in half time like villas, floors etc.The floors and villas in the township are designed by the renowned UK base architecture firm Studio DRA and the landscaping of the project is in the hands of global planning experts W S Atkins. The structures and buildings in the township will be earthquake resistant.The CEO of the Company also said that the township will offer plots, group housing, villas, commercial plots etc along with hotels, schools, malls, multiplexes, shopping complexes. The entire land is owned by the company hence there won’t be any issues relating to land ownership and it has also acquired a complete approval of the Punjab government as well as the environmental authority.
