Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has been enthused by its latest success in massive revenue collection of Rs 1,890 crore in the 2012-13 financial year. Property tax has contributed to a major junk of the revenue. The GHMC commissioner MT Krishna Babu has announced that in an effort to collect rest of the due property taxes a special three month drive will be launched in April which will continue till June. To locate all the un-assessed properties the GHMC will use Google maps besides other newer technologies.Of the Rs 1,890 crore collected as revenue, Rs 779 crore is amount of property tax collected. Rs 515 crore had been collected from the town planning wing. Town planning revenue has increased by 54% since the last financial year. This has mainly happened due to the increased permission for building at circles and zonal levels.An additional property tax of Rs 179 crore has been collected this year. The GHMC commissioner announced that this money will be spent for the advancement of civic infrastructure all over Hyderabad. Localities from which tax collection had been high will receive priority for development.However there are a number of defaulters. A list of 1000 defaulters will be posted on the GHMC website by end of April. Defaulters who will fail to clear their taxes by 5th April will be served with legal notice. Highest number of defaulters are from circle IV (Charminar) areas like Old Malakpet, Saidabad, Dabeerpura, Chandrayangutta, Uppuguda and Rein Bazaar. 46,702 defaulters are from Circle VII (Khairatabad) areas Red Hills, Mangalhat, Ahmednagar, Tolichowki and Vijaynagar colony. 44,588 property owners have not paid property tax in Circle V (Charminar) areas like Hussaini Alam, Begum Bazaar, Falaknuma, Shah Ali Banda and Puranapul.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
