Now it’s 2013 and many new brands are planning to enter the market/expand. The continued invasion created huge demand for appropriate spaces. Well, the supply is staggering. However the needed space is one that will attract more customers, which is less available. Thus the demands of right place and space for luxurious brands still soar overpowering the supply.Slowdown in the economy has merely affected the business of these luxury brands. Several apparel, accessories and footwear labels such as Louis Vuitton, Hermes have already entered the Indian market and Prada is planning to make an entry. Now multitude of foreign luxury brands can be seen in Gurgaon but it’s not far when we can find them in cities like Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad which means heavy retail space demand is expected to be generated in these cities.TO overcome this issue, developers are coming up with new projects in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai that will focus to cater the luxury brands. The luxury DLF Emporio Mall in New Delhi is one such example for future set ups. DLF itself will be launching two projects like Emporio to house luxury brands.The retail sector is expecting high this year.
