New Delhi: A new township project in the national capital region by TDI Infrastructure is going to be funded by Kotak Realty Fund. The project will be constructed in Kundli, Sonepat (NCR). The amount finalized in about 110 crore for the 29 acres group housing project. This is the first private equity investment in the project being developed by the company.Only 6 Km from northern Delhi, the group housing is a part of an extra large township project that will be spread in plush 1200 acres. Sonepat hasn’t touched any height in development till now. But after the recent rail budget session, with a proposal of a new coach factory is Sonepat, shower of job opportunities and development is expected. In recent years, the region around Delhi like Gurgaon and Noida are reflecting an unprecedented growth. Housing projects that offer affordable houses are getting constructed in multifold to cater the heavy population/migration explosion in the metro area.The managing director of TDI Infrastructure has expressed his concern for the pressure that is building up due to shortage of millions of homes in affordable segment.
