New Delhi: Max India Limited a multi-group corporate is planning to set a venture in the hospitality sector which offers a wellness resort named Vana. The venture is being initiated by Veer Singh (son of Chairman, Analjit Singh).Vana Retreats and Hotels Pvt. Ltd have intended to build lifestyle properties across many cities within and outside the country with the initial expenditure of Rs. 300 crore. Their first lifestyle project in Dehradun is a 21 acre property surrounded by Sal forests in Malsi Estate. The project is expected to get completed till the mid of this year. It is a 90 room plush property which offers wellness remedies like yoga, ayurvedic etc. Their main target is the health-conscious people.Veer Singh is planning to set up 7 to 10 retreats within the period of 10 years. Half of the project cost will be in the form of equity. The chairman of Max India, Analjit Singh has already established a hospitality project in 2010.According to the chairman, after the 6 month discussion they concluded that Vana retreat would be an independent project without the involvement of Max Group in the terms of business.Veer Singh is a physicist, graduated from Imperial College, London and now is aspiring entrepreneur.
