Real estate giant Godrej Properties is planning to change the picture of India by transforming 82 million sq ft of land into high end development. Around 6.5 million sq ft will be in cities across the country. Recently Godrej has launched ultra luxurious residential in Alipore area of Kolkata that gained enormous leads. In this new plan, mixed residential and office space development will be in the proposal which will cost more than Rs 100 crore.The company is expecting the approval in few months such that the projects can be started as soon as possible. The estimated size of projects is said to be around 3,500-10,000 sq ft.In Kolkata, Godrej Properties have already stepped on multiple projects in the city. Office complex like Godrej Waterside at Salt Lake, Electronics Complex in Sodepur are some of the commercial projects in pipeline in Kolkata. Whereas Godrej Prakriti, a residential project in North 24 Parganas is also started by the company.Due to troubled situation of market, the demand of commercial properties are comparatively lesser than the residential ones.
