Chandigarh: After the imposition of property tax on residential units, the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation is pulling up its socks to go for a scrutiny of all the commercial properties in the territory. The reason for the survey is said to be the revision of taxes and a sum of Rs 5 lakh is sanctioned for the project. The Municipal Corporation explains that no commercial properties have been checked after 2009-10 and there is a great increase in the number of them. In last three years four new villages have been included in the municipal body that constitute more than 3000 new properties on whom the property tax should be levied. With a proper scrutiny, the exact number of new commercial buildings can be found and for the taxation. Also the tax on this category is imposed in 2004 for the first time and till now no revisions are made. Looking at the rate hike, they must be increased but no such steps have been taken. However the municipal commissioner had said that no news of revision is in the air but it might be made in near future. As new areas are continuously included in the corporation limits, a great need to calculate the total number of commercial properties is the primary aim for the municipality for now. займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
