The initial phase of this corridor will cut through Tumkur where a SIR (Special Investment Region) is taking shape. The SIR will house contemporary infrastructure with eco compatible apartments. This will be yet another added advantage contributing to the manifold growth of the real estate sector.The Bangalore-Mumbai Corridor will be roadway of 550 km and a rail network of 330 km connecting areas like Tumkur, Dharwad, Hukkeri and Belgaum of Karnataka in the initial phase of construction.
