The PRIDC will connect the four major States of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra.The Bangalore-Mumbai corridor will be an imperative part of the PRIDC project proposal which will nurture inter-connectivity between the various cities of India.The Bangalore-Mumbai corridor will complement the Dabhol-Bangalore gas pipeline project, taking real estate to greater heights in these cities. Other large and medium scale industries will benefit from this project since there will be a considerable rise in the workforce and migration statistics of this city. The initial phase of this corridor will cut through Tumkur where a SIR (Special Investment Region) is taking shape. The SIR will house contemporary infrastructure with eco compatible apartments. This will be yet another added advantage contributing to the manifold growth of the real estate sector.The Bangalore-Mumbai Corridor will be roadway of 550 km and a rail network of 330 km connecting areas like Tumkur, Dharwad, Hukkeri and Belgaum of Karnataka in the initial phase of construction.
