Delhi/ NCR: Going Green has become the anthem of most of the workplaces in Delhi. Since people are well aware of the adverse effects of the global warming, many workplaces are adapting eco-friendly work environment. Employees of Ecotech City of Greater Noida affirmed that they do not require any artificial lighting at their workplace. They don’t even need energy efficient lights like CFLs. The employees are elated that their workspaces are inundated with natural sunlight and fresh air.The new-age offices are being designed in such a way that it offers the employees fresh and green working environment. An office block of Ecotech City is one such example among other 80 green buildings in NCR which covers almost 121million sq.ft. The office Block which is mentioned gathers 100% of its electricity from a photovoltaic factory. As compared to the other buildings it consumes 50% less power. It is an administrative building block of Bayer Material Science. This building currently was honored with Platinum LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification and earned highest points for being a net-zero energy building in world. According to Ram Yellamanchili, Head of ECB Centre of Excellence India, their office space is well-equipped with solar energy. About 270 solar PV panels placed on the rooftop generate enough energy that is needed. This is a good example of green office building.Another such green structure is the new building of the Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF). Although the building is still under-construction it has been designed in such a way that it may be honored with GRIHA 5- Star as well as Platinum LEED Certification. The key feature of this exclusive building is that it will be zero tolerant to surface- parking. Underground parking of 3 – level is constructed considering CNG, carpools and electric vehicles. As compared to yesteryears scenario, green building is not as expensive as before. It is just 3% above the normal building rates. So constructing a green office space is not at all a big deal. Many office complexes and commercial buildings in Delhi/NCR and Gurgaon are gradually becoming green. ITC Green Centre, Wipro Technologies Development Centre, Institute of Rural Research And Development (IRRAD), Green Boulevard are some examples of well-known eco-friendly commercial spaces.Though every building may not be certified with LEED or Griha but they are equally energy- efficient. Green offices not only saves energy but they have low maintenance cost too. Therefore arrays of buildings are planning to go green for long-term savings.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
