Vellalore to Get 144 New Flats

Flats-in-CoimbatoreCoimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board has given a nod to the construction of the remaining 144 flats which will come up in the Vellalore area of Coimbatore. Over 936 flats were expected to be given to the Board, but due to some infrastructural instability issues the delivery was delayed.  The Ammankulam construction will no longer be the site of interest since the spread out had sinking issues and did not exhibit stability in comparison to its alternative site.Yet another alternative was proposed for this existing stability concern in April 2010 wherein only the ground and two floors above were to remain as a part of the structure. This would probably have resolved the instability issue. But now the Board seems to have taken the risk factor into consideration and has proposed the construction of the remaining 144 flats in an alternate site. The Corporation had issued a notice to the Board to take up construction of flats for the slum dwellers in Coimbatore. This initiative was backed by the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission as well. Now the pending 144 flats will come up on Chettipalayam Road of Vellalore. The expected date of completion is by March 2014. The construction is expected to occupy an area of around 2-acres. In parallel to these the projects in Keeranatham and Madukkarai are also expected to get a kick start by March end.The safe completion of these projects will cater to the housing needs of the slum dwellers and will be a feather in the cap for initiatives taken by the Corporation.Check out brokerage free house for rent in Coimbatore.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
