Mumbai: It was 2008 when the provision of conveyance deed enacted in the interest of home buyers. The conveyance deed is a document of right to ownership of the flat attained by the buyer after the full payment, clearance of the documents and possession is taken over as the entitlement of the property in the name of the buyer. But four years later, scarcely 1,200 out of the 88,000 housing societies have applied for it. Also the land has been conveyed to housing societies in only 700 cases.Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan had asked officials to undertake a statewide drive from December 1 to reach across housing societies and to take stringent action against builders for not conveying the land within the specified time. Under the Maharashtra Ownership of Flats Act, 1963, it is mandatory for a developer to convey the land to housing societies within four months of the society’s formation. The act also allows societies to approach a district deputy registrar (DDR) in cases where rules is not being followed, another provision for initiating criminal action against such developers and promoters. However criminal action had not been initiated in a single case and suggestions on taking action is still under discussion.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
