Bangalore: In an effort to improve the overall infrastructure, major discussions have been taking place over the past few months. A systematic plan for developing the Urban Layout has been proposed by the Bangalore Metropolitan Region Development Authority (BMRDA). Prior to commencement of the development work, a review of the existing urban scenario is being undertaken by the BMRDA.With work speeding up for the second phase of Bangalore Metro, Urban region development plans have also been allocated resources. Erecting skywalks and focusing on the general hygiene are also a part of the agenda.To get the planning authorities and other officials into co-ordination, for this plan, has been worked upon. Also pooling of funds has been planned for this purpose, in order to avoid financial bottlenecks.Meanwhile issues like poor land management and property registration illegalities have been taken up by the Authorities. Soon, base maps capturing property layouts, will be officially put up on the site to curb the problem of illegal property registration. Once the plans to improve urban planning begin, the infrastructure of Bangalore will get a facelift and showcase a new dimension of development.
