DDA Discloses its Plan of First Transit Oriented Hub

transit-hubDelhi/NCR – Delhi Development Authority’s (DDA) senior officials have declared its most awaited transit oriented development project, East Delhi Hub. The responsibility of project execution is been handed over to National Buildings Construction Corporation. DDA along with this agency is aiming to complete this project in 3 years with an estimated cost of Rs. 4,500 crore.The hub based in Karkardooma is spread over 30 hectares and consists of 1 crore sq ft of built up area for developing.This transit oriented development is first ever such project in the city. DDA is planning to redevelop the complete national capital region with this futuristic project that focuses on construction of pedestrian friendly, baring high mass with mixed-land use.According to the sources, Karkardooma will be the first location in the city to have zero-discharge individual units with platinum rate eco-friendly buildings and in-house water treatment facility. It will be also the first area to have tallest building with 100 storeys.The transit zone will be of 75 acres that will be set around the Karkardooma metro station and another will be developed in next phase of Delhi Metro. Apart from the transit hub, the project will also comprise of service and studio apartments exclusively developed for the senior citizens.According to the vice-president of DDA, this is one of their most ambitious and biggest projects in Delhi. However water and power supply is one of the major concerns. The officials have assured that they will try to meet at least 40% of the water requirement through recycling techniques.The senior officials of the development authority said that they are planning to come up with two more projects on the basis of TOD norms, one in Dwarka and other would be in East Delhi.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
