DDA is Working on Housing Scheme for Senior Citizens

senior-citizen residenceDelhi/NCR – According to the senior officials of Delhi Development Authority (DDA), they will be soon coming up with a new affordable housing scheme for the senior citizens. For the first time in India, such a scheme will be introduced where people 60 and above years of age after their retirement can live comfortably with favorable amenities and facilities within their residential zone. The development authority has finalized 4 locations where this special project will be developed. DDA is in talks with 5 real estate companies that would give them the designs to develop the residential complexes. The vice-chairperson of DDA said that there is a limited supply of senior-citizen friendly residential projects in India while most of them are located in south of India and metro cities. However the cost as well as rent of such apartments developed by private developers is too high. Thus the authority has made an initiative to come with senior citizen apartments with necessary amenities and that too at affordable price.Apart from providing ease of access, the residential complex would offer amenities such as medical room, library, gymnasium, jogging tracks and nursing units. Security is also a major concern among the senior citizens, therefore the residential zones will be guarded for 24*7.The development authority will personally check the quality of residences and the food and medical services provided.DDA along with the real estate companies is planning about the financial models. They have come up with 3 payment modes – in the first mode, the applicant can pay the lump sum amount and acquire the flat, in the second, the citizens can pay the amount in monthly installments and the third mode is reverse mortgage where the applicants can mortgage the property and pay the price.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
