Delhi/ NCR: With the shift in the nature of commercial activities, Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is planning to look for an alternative at its own region, local shopping and accessible shopping centers. The authority is thinking to allocate residential spaces in their developed commercial hubs and redevelop them through private public partnerships. The authority has made this proposal with an intention to expand mixed land use in the capital region. The Senior DDA Officials said that a proposal has been prepared for developing service apartments for both visitors and working staff in these commercial spaces and also decided to increase the current FAR. The authority has in total 642 commercial spaces in the capital city.According to the senior officials of DDA, the businesses which were operating from the commercial centers developed by DDA were seen to be decreasing eventually due to the emergence of grocery shops and food joints in the residential locations. As per a recent survey conducted by the authority, around 3,000 to 4,000 commercial spaces were still vacant. Some remained unsold during auction and others were closed due to loss in business. The vice-chairperson of the authority said that they are not profiting anymore from their developed commercial centers thus redeveloping these centers would make them striking. However this not a new concept of DDA to introduce affordable housing in commercial centers developed by authority.According to DDA officials, they will be opting for public private joint venture between individual merchants, private entity and DDA. The private developer will be responsible to expand the commercial centers and will demolish the building and construct again if they are offered more FAR and receive approval of the storekeepers.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
