Land in Noida, Yamuna Expressway and Greater Noida is likely to get pricey from this June. The development authorities of these three areas are said to declare a hike of 10 to 15% in the allotment price which will include all types of land. According to the sources, there would be a combined board meeting on 2nd June where all the 3 development authorities will come together and discuss the key agenda that would be to hike the allotment rates of land.In Noida, the land rates for commercial purpose are expected to rise by 15% whereas industrial will be increased by 10% and residential land prices will be raised by 5%. Even in Greater Noida, land rates are expected to rise by 10%. The change in land prices will be brought into affect from June.As per the sources, the board will also be discussing about the planned Metro route extension which has been kept on hold for quite a long time. If the board agrees then the delayed Metro link of 30 kms between Noida and Greater Noida will soon start operating.Apart from this other awaiting infrastructure projects like eminent roads in Noida, stabling yard for the planned Metro link between Kalindi Kunj and Botanical Garden is also expected to get on track after the board discussion.
