Delhi/NCR: Citizens who are waiting since long time for transfer of their plot from leasehold to freehold can now take a sigh of relief. Recently, high court has ordered the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to simplify the process of conversion. The justice demanded justification for the delay in the process and with respect to it asked the authority to present a report that would show the yearwise count of pending applications for transfer of plot from leasehold to freehold which includes residential, commercial and industrial premises, apartments, shops and other such properties. In the presence of DDA Commissioner, High Court had presented the order. The senior officer of the development authority informed the court that he had recently taken responsibility and will require some more time to confirm the status of the pending applications with the plot conversion agency. The justice later requested the officer to ask the high court if there is any information gathered to confirm the number of applications that has been received by different departments of the development authority for the property conversion and also to notify their current status.Justice mentioned in the order that the final status report should include the yearwise total count of applications which are pending for conversion from leasehold to freehold properties under different categories of properties, a clear justification stating that why these applications are still pending after the expiry period of 90 days, predetermined by DDA, since time is required for processing them and general measures taken to streamline the conversion procedure.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
