The website will mainly focus on the primary concerns of tax payers like inaccurate tax imposition, faulty tax bills and other such similar issues.On the launch of this new property tax website, the tax department head of PMC said that previously the information related to the property tax was available on the official portal of PMC but due to the inconvenience, the citizens faced difficulties to look for the information thus the authority decided to come up with a separate property tax website for the convenience of the citizens. The new online portal will also allow citizens to pay their property tax online.Major technical issues are being faced by the municipal corporation regarding the release of property tax bills and delivering it to the property owners. Apart from this numerous citizens across the city arrive to the PMC office every year, to complain about the flawed tax bills. However, according to the head of the tax department, the new property tax website will help the citizens and resolve most of their issues.
