Visakhapatnam: Grater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) has set a target to collect Rs 255.85 crore by the end of the financial year on 31 March, 2014. GVMC is supposed to collect all the taxes through property tax (PT) and Vacant Land Tax (VLT) to meet the set target of the corporation.GVMC has till March 24, 2014 collected only 128.08 crore and it has to achieve the remaining collection before the dead line of the year end. The overall collection of the property taxes should come from about 4,37,761 and vacant lands and properties in Visakhapatnam and this collection also include property tax collection of the current fiscal year.The civic body has to collect the examining tax collection in the limited days and it has to be firm about the collections it has to collect the amount of Rs 127.77 crore which includes PT and VLT dues and tax assessment.GVMC commissioner MV Satyanarayana said that the corporation is taking all possible measures to reach its targets. GVMC also working on adopting new strategies to collect the outstanding amount as soon as possible and it will carry these new strategies for the next fiscal year.GVMC revenue officials said that corporation can collect Rs 103.47 crore till the April 1, 2014 leaving remaining Rs. 4062 crore uncollected. The total property tax dues which has to be collected is Rs 50.27 crore out of which GVMC is supposed to collect Rs 26.68 crore.GVMC stated that it has conducted door-to-door campaigns to achieve the target amount assessment, and to make assessment easy GVMC will keep its counter open till 8 pm till the dead line exclusively to collect the remaining PT and VLT dues.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
