No-more Land Use Licenses in NCR Orders High Court

gurgaonGurgaon: The Punjab and Haryana high court has ordered Haryana government not to issue any change of land use (CLU) license in Gurgaon and National Capital Region. According to the order, Haryana government will not give change of land use licenses to developers to build colonies until the NCR Planning Board approves a sub-regional plan.Change of land use licenses were to be issued to developers in Gurgaon and National Capital Region for the development of colonies. The high court has also ordered authorities to not to start any process for acquisition of land in these regions till further orders from the high court regarding the development.A division bench has passed these orders after hearing a petition which claimed that it has observed unregulated construction and development around Gurgaon and NCR. This unregulated construction and development is done without any mandatory sub-regional plan from the NCRPB. The petition submitted against the government also challenged the proposed master plan of 2015 and 2031.TN gupta, financial commissioner and principal secretary in the department of town and country planning said that the government would get the approval from NCRPB within the two months period. But the bench directed Tn Gupta to not to issues any permission or license to any developer to acquire land in Gurgaon and NCR till sub-regional plan is approved.The high court while giving order also stated that the new order will not affect CLU licenses already issued by the government.
