Now you can buy a flat at a reasonable price in Greater Noida as the city authority will soon be coming up with an affordable housing plan on its foundation day, 28th January. Greater Noida Authority officials declared that they will be setting up 2,000 affordable housing units in the builders’ zone and Sector Pi located in the city. Apart from this, authority is also planning to launch a commercial scheme.One of the senior officials of the authority said that this will be a massive Rs. 150 crore housing scheme which would comprise of 350 sq ft, super area units, pricing Rs. 7 to 8 lakh.The additional Chief Executive officer of the city authority stated that they have decided the locations but the launch date for the scheme is not yet decided and they are waiting for the approvals that are required for the development. The authorities of Yamuna Expressway as well as Greater Noida are planning to come up 12,000 flats in 3 years down the line. The authority last year had already initiated a scheme that boasts 7,000 housing units of 300 sq ft. The authorities have shortlisted Sector Mu2 and 10 to set up these flats.The residential units will be constructed in low-rise buildings and would boast well-equipped infrastructure facilities which consist of shopping complexes, kiosks, school, park, playground, nursing home and community centre. The officials further said that the all the buildings will be given proper finishing and also have garage facilities.
