DDA to Come up with a Separate Cell for Land Pooling Policy

DDAThe Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has taken a decision to form a cell that will execute and supervise the land pooling policy. The transfer of leasehold property to freehold is another major problem to be considered, hence with respect to this, the LG has asked DDA to set up a timeline for the departments so that they can keep the track of all the delays and irregularities.The development authority has in total 711 flats, last year, out of which numerous flats are reserved for finance, petroleum, power ministries and also for the National Green Tribunal. Out of the 168 flats which are remaining, 60 are said to be distributed to the Government of Delhi. The LG has also requested the civic body to look after quality of flats that are under-construction.Besides than putting the regulations related to land pooling policy on the DDA website for comments, it will also be advertised and notified.
