One of the prominent real estate firms of our country, Lodha Group recently declared to launch the Phase 2 of its mega city project. The project is named as Palava.The project consists of four phases and is expected to get finished by 2025. The total project will be developed on 5,000 acres of land, in which the second phase will be constructed on 800 acres of land and will comprise of 800 buildings. Apart from residential complexes, the project will also possess malls, commercial buildings, hotels etc. This phase is likely to get completed within next 5 years. This Mumbai based real estate firm will be developing this mega city project in a Mumbai suburb, Dombivli, situated in Thane district.The deputy managing director of Lodha Group said that they expect to earn around Rs. 15,000 crore from the second phase. Previously in the first phase 20,000 housing units were delivered by the company. He further added that the company is now focusing on delivering homes of high quality at reasonable price. By 2025, they will be providing around 1 lakh middle-income affordable residences.The apartment will size between 750 sq ft to 1,200 sq ft in phase 2 while it will be priced between Rs. 36 lakh to Rs. 65 lakh.The real estate company has already invested in over 3,500 acres of land and will be soon acquiring another 1500 acres of land. Rs. 4,800 has been spent in the land purchase and funding for the first phase.
