Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has welcomed the tenders of constructing 20 kms of road. According to the tender, AMC has joined hands with some contractors who would construct thirteen roads. Out of the 13 roads, construction of 7 roads will be using white topping technology.The senior officer of the civic body with ambiguity said they will be spending around Rs. 31.38 crore for the construction of this infrastructure project. He further said that the municipal corporation has undertaken the task of constructing 13 roads and out of which 7 will be using innovative development method like white topping technology while the rest of the roads will be constructed with the traditional approach. Uddhavrao Patil Chowk to Siddhartha Nagar, Little Flower School to Bhausingpura, Naik College to N4 Cidco, Anand Gade Chowk to Old Peer Bazaar Chowk, Chelipura police station to Madni Chowk and Sawarkar Chowk to Satish Petrol Pump, the municipal corporation will be working on development of these roads.The tender will be presented on January 8th, 2014 and the construction work is anticipated to get accomplished within six months.The municipal commissioner earlier had announced that the citizens of Aurangabad would very soon be benefited with the development of new and improved roads in the city. The roads will be developed using blend of white topping technology and the conventional method of construction.
