Aurangabad: Owners who wish to see their Waqf property details can do so by visiting the official website of the Maharashtra State Government. Here onwards all the details pertaining to Waqf properties will be made available online. This move has been taken in order to bring in transparency in the processing of Land records in Maharashtra.Entire periodical of these properties will be made public by uploading relevant details in the official website. A committee of 32 members and few other employees of the Maharashtra State Board of Waqf will be in charge of this responsibility. The uploading and supervising activities will be taken care of by this Board which will ensure details of the properties are opened for public viewing.Yet another important factor to bring in digitization is to cut down the number of manual enquiries on such properties. With the details going online, information will be made available in just a click or two. Waqf property owners no longer have to visit the dedicated Departments for information.Prior to this property owners had to make a personal visit to the Waqf Board in Aurangabad. The turn-around time was huge will delayed retrieval of information. But with the new move all the details will be available to the public via the Maharashtra State Board of Waqf website.The uploading will be categorized into six divisions. Details of the properties will be filtered District wise based on the classification.
