Gurgaon: The MCG has extended the deadline for payment of property tax for residents of Gurgaon private properties. Residents of private areas of private builders like DLF and other private builders have refused to pay the property taxes. These residents are demanding that the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon must take over these areas from private builders. The civil writ petition was filed by the Gurgaon Citizens Council (GCC), which will be brought for hearing today at Punjab and Haryana high courts. The GCC, body of various resident welfare association in Gurgaon property areas said that the MCG should first provide residents of these areas basic services like water, roads, etc. so that residents feel good to pay the property tax. Residents here have to pay the double money as they pay maintenance to the private builders and then the property tax to the MCG.Residents said that they will not pay the property tax in until the case is still pending in the high courts; once the result comes out we will follow it accordingly. Residents are hoping to get a positive result from the court as they are not willing to pay the taxes double the amount of what they are supposed to pay.GCC President, R S Rathee said that we do not understand why MCG is hoping to get a property tax from the residents as they haven’t even provided a single service to residents? We hope that court will consider the matter and give respite to the residents with the decision.MCG authorities insisted that the private builder area residents should pay the tax like the other residents. According to the municipal act, these residents have to pay the property taxes as MCG provide them services like the construction and demolition waste plant. The MCG will surely take over these areas from the builders very soon for residents’ better welfare.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
