AMC Announces 9,959 Affordable Homes for the Weaker Section

affordable homesAhmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) is planning to come up with affordable homes for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and the Low Income Group (LIG) citizens of Ahmedabad. The Municipal Corporation will be launching 9,959 residential units and these houses will be constructed in 29 different locations within the city.According to the AMC officials, out of the total 9,959 units, 5082 houses will be allocated to the EWS group and the remaining 4877 houses will be provided for Low Income Group segment. Nikol, Chandkheda, Thaltej, Kali, Vastral, Kankaria, Vada, Vejalpur are few of the locations among the 29 places where the homes will be constructed. Apart from the land which is reserved for residential development in the approved town planning scheme, AMC officials said that they will also use 20% area of the closed mills for the development of these projects.The officials further added that citizens whose family annual income is less than Rs. 1 lakh fits into the category of EWS and will be qualified for acquiring residential units which has a carpet area of around 28 sq. m. The homes will be allocated to the beneficiary at Rs. 3 lakh. At the time of application the homebuyer need to pay Rs. 7,500.In case of LIG category, citizens whose annual income of the family is above Rs. 1 lakh and below Rs. 2.5 lakh can be benefited with LIG scheme where residential units have carpet area of 45 sq. m. Cost of the residences will be Rs. 10. 50 lakh and Rs. 11.50 lakh. The applicant needs to submit Rs.20, 000 along with the application.The beneficiaries are not allowed to sell or rent their homes for seven years under the housing scheme and they have to pay 20% of the cost before owning the residence, rest of the amount can be paid in 10 installments.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
