Yamuna Expressway is a thriving real estate destination for both industrial and residential development. Yamuna Development Authority is planning to open an affordable housing scheme on this realty hotspot. Many builders are showing interest in developing residential projects on Yamuna Expressway.The development authority currently offered a housing scheme of 4500, 1 BHK flats which were priced around Rs. 7 to 8 lakhs and were sized approximately 30 sq mt. This housing scheme received a wonderful response. Lucky draw will be arranged for this scheme and the homes will be delivered within next two years. Another housing scheme is of 3000 2 BHK residential units of 55 sq mt, pricing Rs.166 lakh and 100 sq mt area, priced Rs.27 lakh. The lucky draw for this scheme will also be conducted soon.Apart from these housing schemes, the development authority will also be coming up with industrial plots scheme soon. The scheme will be presenting 565 industrial plots of different sizes varying from 300 to 1800 sq m. The plots will be costing Rs. 5,500 per sq mt. A residential plot scheme was launched in 2009 and was expected to get delivered by this year, around October. But due to some protest by the farmers, the possession has been delayed. The farmers are demanding more 65% compensation for the lands that has already been purchased from them.Yamuna expressway is gaining a lot of momentum. Around 15 real estate developers who have bought lands from YEIDA will be coming up with several residential projects in this location.
