Delhi Development Authority Planning to Auction Over 60 Plots in November

DDANew Delhi: Delhi Development Authority (DDA), after a year gap has decided to sell numerous plots through auction process. One of the official said that the auction will take place on November 20, 21 and 22 at Pitampura, Vikas Puri, East of Kailash, Vivek Vihar, Dwarka and other such areas. Around 60 plots will be auctioned in 14 various primary locations.The property rates are expected to rise in these areas as DDA has decided to start the auction process with high base rate. Around 63 properties that will be auctioned cost above Rs. 1 crore. Since the property rates are put under correction and the interest of the home buyers are descending, DDA has assertively taken this decision. Property prices in Janakpuri usually range between Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 50,000 per sq ft while DDA has initiated the auction process with Rs. 42,000 per sq ft to try to win over, a park facing 12 bedroom, builder built property.The development authority is planning to take over the big real estate builders by offering some prime properties. A 70 sq m plot in Yamuna is getting auctioned at Rs. 1.47 crore while a 357 sq m property at Janakpuri has been priced Rs. 15.74 crore. Investors will be benefited with some best deals offered by DDA such as a 270 sq m plot at Jasola facing a wide road of 24 m with a base price of over Rs. 13 crore, 2 corner plots at Dwarka Sector-17 of 355 sq m is priced around Rs. 11 crore etc. According to the official the authority will be coming up with more residential properties for auction in coming months.The auction was put on hold for some time, after a gap now DDA is back with the auction process.
