The company has joined hands with Avenue Venture Real Estate Fund (AVREF), a private equity firm to develop this project. This equity firm has invested Rs. 55 crore.AVREF is a Mumbai based real estate Fund Company which primarily invests in housing projects developed in Bangalore, Chennai and Pune. This private equity firm identifies builders on a growth path and aids them financial support right from the stage of land acquisition.According to the property consultant, Jones Lang LaSalle India, Rohan Builders has already developed projects in Bangalore and now has partnered with AVREF to develop this housing project. This deal has proved that even in times of limited liquidity for real estate, there is availability of capital for quality projects by well-known and credible realty developers. The property consultancy is working on number of deals of the same line on behalf of their customers.The current residential project is located in Boganhalli, east Bangalore which is one of the fastest developing areas of this city. The size of the project is about 7 lakh sq ft of saleable area.Rohan Builders is a renowned real estate company which has launched numerous projects in Pune as well in Bangalore. This is for the first time that this company would be partnering private equity firm for expansion of its housing projects.
