JNNURM Transition Phase Development to Cost 870 Crore in Hyderabad

hyderabad-infraHyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is going to construct several projects under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM). The phase-I of JNNURM will comprise projects costing about Rs 870 crore under the transition phase.Transition phase projects include various infrastructure developments in Hyderabad and these projects have acquired clearance from the state-level committee and the proposals will be sent to the Union Ministry fro Urban Development for further approvals.The projects are scheduled to get complete in three years once the proposals get clearance from the central government. The Union Government had launched the JNNURM scheme to improve the infrastructure in cities. The sanctions were given under the Urban Infrastructure and Governance (UIG) and Basic Services to the Urban Poor (BSUP) schemes. The central government provides 35 percent fund; state government provides 15 percent and remaining 50 per cent is provided by the civic administration for such projects.The GHMC acquired funds for total 27 projects which include housing projects costing Rs 2300 crore, 10 UIG projects and 17 BSUP Projects. The Centre has requested Hyderabad civic body to complete these projects by March 2014.The transition phase of the JNNNURM will comprise infrastructure projects situated in various parts of the city. The GHMC proposed several projects in the transition phase which includes a flyover at Tolichowki, link road connecting Raj Bhavan and Begumpet,  solid waste management and rail under bridge (RUB) at Uttamnagar, widening of roads, JNTU-Mind Space Road, and remodeling of nalas at various places. займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
