Pune: Another survey of properties lined up in the schedule of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). According to the plan, on September 1, PCMC will initiate a drive to survey the number of properties and built up area. Apart from the usual scrutiny, owners would be verified if paying the property tax or not and it will be also be thoroughly checked if all the household drainage lines are ending up to the underground drainage system.The Assistant commissioner of the civic body has sad that the fresh survey within municipal limits will enable the officials to understand if the property is authorized, any extension has been made and the usage of property has been changed (residential to commercial). Also if the commercial establishments are paying the taxes for display will be checked.Proper survey and accurate count of properties and the services used by them will aid the revenue of the corporation. The collected money will be used in the development of the city and comforting the citizens.Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar made a visit to check the functioning of the civic body officials and asked to speed up the infrastructure projects running in the city.
