With a move to initiate India’s collaboration with Russia in the real estate sector, CREDAI for the first time is holding its national meet in Russia.Minister of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation is attending the 13th CREDAI National Convention and expressed views regarding the cooperation between the two countries. Presently the Russian real estate market is flourishing hence there are wide opportunities in association with Russian real estate companies.Renowned real estate developers attended this annual meet in Moscow. Russia, never before witnessed such an unprecedented event with respect to real estate. Participants in the event showed interest in Russian realty market and are expected to come-back soon to tie-up with the Russian developers.Indian real estate industry is yet to take-off in the Russian market. But still there are some Indian companies based in Moscow who have invested huge amount in the local real estate. Russia’s World Trade Organization (WTO) agreement has opened up new opportunities in commercial sector in some of the major cities of this country. According to a survey, Indian real estate builders are exploring development opportunities in the new areas which were added to Moscow last year. The new territories have doubled the size of the city.According to the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, the government of this country is thinking to come-up with opportunities in residential sector for the foreign investors like India.Substantial number of Indian businessmen attended the annual convention organized by CREDAI. Over 700 top real estate developers came down to Moscow to attend the meet and discuss problems of their industry.
