Mumbai: No worms for the early birds! The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has cancelled the proposed tax rebate scheme for early property tax payment. Due to several technical and procedural delays, the civic body has been compelled to close the scheme for the year 2013. The people who will pay their property tax within the declared date will now get no special rebate. The property tax rebate scheme is going to get launched again in 2014.The proposal for the cancellation will be tabled on Wednesday for the approval. Nevertheless BMC had already proposed the rebate percentages for three financial years starting from 2012. It was like 2 percent for paying the half yearly tax by May 31, 3 percent by June 30 and 4 percent who pay entire amount before the deadline. The BMC had also extended the due date for payment of property tax by September 30. However there are multiple technical delays that forced the corporation to close the scheme and start it fresh next year. One of the major reasons for the confusion is the new capital based value system of which weak understanding is there with the officials of civic body. This year BMC has issued property tax bills for around 2.7 lakh properties. займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
