New Delhi: Delhi Government has decided to reopen the General Power of Attorney (GPA)-based property registrations. The revenue department had ordered closure of GPA based registrations in April 2012. The service will be made available with approval of LG Najeeb Jung, Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. The final orders are most likely to be sanctioned by 22nd July 2013.According to new orders, the registration based on GPA can only be allowed for legal transfers and will not be permitted for transfer of title which enables mutation of property. This permission for GPA based registration will regularize the documentation process in unauthorized colonies which lack the same.About 20 percent of registrations were done through GPA before the termination of GPA based registration in 2012. The GPA based registration was the most common way of selling leasehold properties. The Government is hoping to see good revenues through such GPA based registrations. The previous orders stated that the GPA based registrations left no evidence of how many times a property has changed hands. The order aimed to maintain cleaner transactions with clear title deeds which will account for higher revenues for the Government. In GPA based registrations, registered property owners can execute a General Power of Attorney or Special Power of Attorney in the name of any individual such as spouse, relative, etc. The registered Power of Attorney holder is further competent to execute any kind of deed of transfer according to the terms of the GPA.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
