Music lovers cannot hide it. If they are true lovers of music you can sense it the moment you enter their room. You will find either musical instruments or sound system or books on music. Teenagers often show their love for music by putting up posters of their favourite singers or bands. When they grow up it is not uncommon for them to dedicate a whole room to music or for that matter strew musical elements all over the house. Even if you are not a music buff you can still incorporate some interior décor items that are music themed as they can give your entire home a very classy touch.
Music Stencil: Often we prefer stenciling on walls instead of painting them in a flat and monotonous color. Though coloring is inexpensive, a better idea to make walls look attractive is to stencil patterns and shapes on walls. Stenciling does not take much artistic talent and therefore are easier do-it-yourself projects. You can create stencils of music symbols or notes. You can use one large, single note on a wall or you can go for a number of symbols and place them randomly all over the wall. Vary the sizes to make things interesting. If you do not fancy them all over the wall you can use smaller stencils and use them to make a border on any one edge of the wall, ideally the top of the wall.
Wallpaper: Another means of decorating your walls with music is to use sheet music as wallpaper. You can cover an entire wall with sheet music to create an accent wall or you can tear up the sheet and make it into a different design or a collage to adorn the wall. Using differently colored sheets can also give an interesting effect. To stick the sheet on the wall, dip the sheet into a mixture of white glue and water and paste it.
Musical Instruments: You can use musical instruments for room décor as well. You do not have to necessarily know how to play those instruments to decorate with them. (However it is advisable to know at least something about the instrument and about music if you not want to come across as an utter fake). You can buy second hand instruments from flea markets and they do not need to be functional either. You can polish them or add a few touches to make them good as new. You can even paint them in a color contrasting that of the room. Big musical instruments like pianos and cellos can be expensive but they act as excellent focal points for the room.
Idols: No music themed decor can be complete without dedication to the iconic music makers and your personal idols. If you are a fan of western classical music you can opt for a bust of Beethoven. If you are a lover of Indian classical music a painting of the iconic Ravi Sankar can adorn a wall. Colorful and interesting graphic depictions of famous singers are easily available which you can frame onto your walls. If you are a big fan of any certain music star you can even appoint a graffiti artist to make a larger than life graffiti of your star on one wall.
Album Covers: You can also do something that almost all music lovers do. You can obtain funky album covers of your favourite album and make an album cover collage on you wall. Framing the covers will not only look good they will also remain preserved better. The album covers can come from your own collection or you can buy them cheaply online.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
