New Delhi: Unitech Corporate Parks (UCP) which is a firm listed in London under the Unitech Group, is planning to sell its IT Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Gurgaon. The SEZ comprises of 3.5 million sq ft office space and the sell will be proximately for Rs 2,800 crore.Unitech Corporate Parks is listed on London’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM). It was formed by the Unitech Group to invest in commercial real estate in India. The Unitech Corporate Parks owns 60% stake in the SEZ in Gurgaon. The rest of the shares of the SEZ are owned by the Unitech Group.Unitech Corporate Parks needs to find potential buyers and has given its order to sell the Gurgaon SEZ in India to property consultant Jones Lang LaSalle India. JLL India has already commenced the process of finding probable buyers and discussing about the property with them. Formal bids for the SEZ are expected to be called for by the end of July. The property has been valued at Rs 2,800 crore.Speculations in the market are that the SEZ will be completed by the end of 2013. 75% of the space in the SEZ has already been leased. Unitech is expected to make a profit of Rs 1,100-1,200 crore from the deal. The money will probably be spent to payback debts and fund various projects under the Unitech Group.UCP works in partnership with the Unitech Group and as a part of the partnership has invested in five commercial properties in Delhi NCR and in one located in Kolkata. In all the properties Unitech has 40% of the shares while the rest are owned by UCP. Unitech holds 13% stakes in UCP.In December 2006 UCP has placed its Ordinary Shares on the AIM of London and has raised £360 million.UCP said in its half yearly report of December, 2012, “The Board is working actively on all future options for the Company and ways to monetize the assets as they progress.” It also said, “We continue to believe that the maximum value for shareholders will be achieved by creating investments which are substantially physically complete and well let, and so our strategy continues to be to progress the projects as quickly as tenant demand permits.”займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
